Chevy Chase to ‘Community’ creator: ‘F*ck you’

chevy chase

I applaud Chevy for standing up for his family! His wife and kids were there and for Dan Harmon to be so self absorbed to not finish the scene because the “writing was bad”? Please… you’re not doing Shakespeare! You’re doing a second, o0r third, rate sitcom! Get a life Dan and well done Chevy! You need to go on Howard Stern again for talk about this!

It looks like there is trouble brewing in the Greendale Community College “Community.”

A heated voicemail left by actor Chevy Chase for “Community” creator Dan Harmon leaked online over the weekend, revealing a troubling rift between the veteran comedian and the series showrunner, Deadline reports.

During the third season wrap party, Harmon reportedly made a speech where he gave Chase a big “fuck you” after the actor reportedly refused to film a final scene because he didn’t like the writing.

Chase’s wife and daughter were present at the party, so the actor stormed out — and that is when things got even more tense.

Chase then called and left Harmon a volatile voicemail, in which he calls Harmon a “fat fuck” and says that the writing on the show is an “abomination.”

America thinks LeBron James is more overpaid than anybody but Snooki and Kim Kardashian

overpaid_uni

The writer of the article clearly has a bias towards Lebron. Simply put… someone who is as self serving as Lebron needs to be on this list. 99% of all Americans hate these three people because of their sheer irrelevance. Besides, the NBA is filled with many many examples (as the writer states) of players who are paid way too much for mediocre performances. I think ill start to lobby to have the nba shut down… its a horrible organized activity.

Nestled within the results of a new joint lifestyle survey conducted by Yahoo! Finance and Fitness magazine is an interesting little NBA nugget. Asked to identify people who make way more money than they deserve, nearly a quarter of survey respondents picked LeBron James.

In addition to questions about monthly finances, planned uses for tax refunds, spending preferences and how money impacts relationships, 2,000 Americans were asked, “Who do you think makes way more money than she/he deserves to?” The most popular choice was mom-and-wife-to-be Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of “Jersey Shore” fame, picked by 51 percent of those surveyed. She was followed closely by Kim Kardashian (45 percent), with whom we are all very familiar.

There’s a big gap after the two reality stars — the third-most popular answer didn’t get even a quarter of respondents’ votes — but James is No. 3 on the list. Twenty-four percent of the 2,000 people surveyed said the Miami Heat superstar and two-time league Most Valuable Player gets paid more money than he deserves.

Lawyers are Suing Their Law Schools Because They Don’t Have Jobs

law-school

Ok, I’ve seen this story a couple times on various sites and I now feel compelled to comment.

A bunch of recently graduated and unemployed lawyers are suing their law schools for false hope.

A total of 75 alumni have filed at least 15 class-action lawsuits across the country, accusing their law schools of inflating employment and salary data to attract prospective students.

The New York Daily News reported that graduates from the Brooklyn Law School accuse the school of fraud, saying that “attending Brooklyn Law and forking nearly $150,000 in tuition payments is a terrible investment.”

The school’s Web site reported employment rates of 88 to 98 percent within nine months of graduation, but the students allege these figures included students who had part-time or temporary work unrelated to the legal field, according to the Daily News.

Recent graduates from New York Law School filed a $200 million class action suit in damages for fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and violations of business law.

Financial writer Flexo at Consumerism Commentary says that the goal of the lawsuits seem not to merely receive compensation, but to ” effect systemic change in the education industry and associations that accredit law schools, like the American Bar Association.”

He also says it’ll be hard for the students to win their case, since there are many “factors that contribute to unemployment, including the overall economy, local job markets, and the effort, skills, and self-marketability of each alumnus.”

M.I.A.’s Raised Middle Finger Raises Question: Why The Provocation?(Video & Pic)

mia middle finger 2

M.I.A., Guess what? No one heard of you before the half time show at the Superbowl and no one will care in 24 hours. You were at Minute 13 before your performance and now you’re at Minute 14! Welcome to irrelevance! Because of your actions, half time next year will now feature a mime instead of a music show. You’re so ignorant of the stage you were on that your self-importance took over your judgement… lame. Video and more pics below

So, who used whom in the Madonna/M.I.A. Super Bowl halftime controversy–per that already famous middle finger that M.I.A. offered tens of millions of viewers before the censors could get to it? Did Madonna encourage this insurrection from her guest rapper, so that she’d have some provocation in her otherwise family-friendly set without having to take the rap herself? Or was M.I.A. using Madonna and the Super Bowl to get attention for her own new video and forthcoming album? Or maybe just driven to atone, in her own outrageous way, for having sold out in agreeing to be Madonna’s celebrity cheerleader?

Whatever the motives, this is hardly the first time M.I.A. has gotten the public’s hackles up. Her status as a lightning rod for controversy was satirized just a couple of months ago on “Saturday Night Live,” when an actress parodying M.I.A. interrupted a spoof Christmas duet with Michael Buble by repeatedly firing a pistol in the air, mid-carol.

justin-bieber-selena-gomez-

“as normal as possible” Selena, you do realize you’re dating a minor? Anything you “may be doing behind closed doors” would be considered criminal if you were anyone else? You’ll have plenty of time to be ‘normal’ once Justin’s 15 minutes are up. He’s at Minute14 of his career now anyways!

Justin Bieber has rented outmovie theaters and even the Los Angeles Staples Center to demonstrate his affection for girlfriend Selena Gomez, but 19-year-old Gomez insists her man isn’t always as showy when it comes to their romance.

Kanye West Announces Big Plans in Twitter Spree

kanye_twitter

Really? This chump thinks he’s going to the next Steve jobs? He’ll be more like the bankrupt MC Hammer. The only thing Kanye cares about is himself and how “great” he can be… I’m glad to be around as his slide into obscurity starts.

Kanye West went on a marathon tweeting spree last night in which he touched on a wide range of topics, including the announcement of his new design company, details of his new fashion line and the revelation that he has severed ties with the William Morris agency after his agent left to join Creative Artists Agency. “I have no agency representing me currently,” the rapper wrote.

According to West, his design company, DONDA, “will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce there dreams and ideas.” The company, which is named after his late mother, will be “comprised of over 22 divisions with a goal to make products and experiences that people want and can afford.” West says that he is “assembling a team of architects, graphic designers, directors musicians, producers, A&Rs, writers, publicists, social media experts, app guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers, publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, nutritionists, doctors, scientists [and] teachers” for this extremely ambitious project.

“If You Cheat Once, Don’t Tell”

kyle-richards

Seriously? Why does anyone even care what she has to say? She is a self righteous tv-wannabe who thinks she is more important than everyone else. What kind of advice is this? Man, she is dumb…

Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards has been married to Mauricio Umansky for 17 years, but she has some controversial advice when it comes to marriage and infidelities.

“If you cheat once, don’t tell,” the 42-year-old mom says in her new book, Life Is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real With The Housewife Who Does It All. ”You get a free pass.”

When asked about her stance on cheating during an appearance on Good Morning America, Richards said she “[knew] I was going to get some heat for that.”

Backers of Calif millionaire tax target Kardashian

The-Kardashians

What a great idea for a promotional idea! They only paid 1 point higher in taxes than someone making $47k?  These hacks deserve and need to pay more than their fair share in taxes… this is an outrage and if this bill doesn’t pass in California, I’d be very disappointed…

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Kim Kardashian, the model who has parlayed reality TV fame into a personal fortune for her family and herself, is the target of a new online advertising campaign asking Californians to support a proposed ballot initiative to raise taxes on its wealthiest residents.

An online video from the Courage Campaign flashes images of Kardashian living the good life and proclaiming that “being on TV has changed my life, because you get lots of free stuff.”

The video says Kardashian made $12 million in 2010 but paid just 1 percentage point more in California income taxes than someone making $47,000 — 10.3 percent vs. 9.3 percent.

Tanooki outrage! Super Mario comes under PETA fire. Seriously.

super-tanooki-mario-kills-peta

PETA, don’t you have anything better to do? Its a video game… do you really think kids playing this game will grow up to use the skin of a Tanooki for clothing? Shoes? What you should be concerned with, PETA, is that I heard a rumor on the web that McDonalds is coming out with a Tanooki club sandwich! THATS right! Fried Tanooki, swiss cheese, bacon (YES! Bacon!), lettuce (those poor lettuce plans being shredded! Oh the horror!), and thousand island dressing! If McDonalds keeps using that thousand island dressing, pretty soon there will be only 750 islands left! We need to start a petition to keep all thousand islands from becoming extinct and preserve their right to exist! 750 isl;and dressing is no where as good as thousand island! PETA, get on it! Well, I digress… PETA is a LAME organization and those who support it are lame too. As a reminder to what PETA stands for: People Eating Tasty Animals!

PETA must have something better to do than go after a fictional video game character. Right? Right?!

Wrong.

Apparently, in the new ”Super Mario Land 3D Land” for Nintendo DS, Mario dons something called a tanooki suit — a fur suit that gives him special powers. There is actually no such thing as a “tanooki”; it’s a mythical creature created for the game. It is, presumably, fashioned after the tanuki raccoon dog.

Haters Launch Petition to Take the Kardashians Off Television

keeping_up_with_the_kardashians-show

I’m glad see that somone took up what we’ve been saying for ages! The Kardashian’s are a waste of space make sure to sigh the petition to get them off here.

What do Change.org and Occupy Wall Street have in common with some Kardashian haters? They all are organized groups of people trying to get something done — in the Kardashian case, they want the reality clan off of television for good!

“In a grass roots effort, we have collected [thousands of] signatures for a petition asking E! Entertainment to remove the Kardashian suite of shows from their programming,” petition organizer Cyndy Snider said in a statement. “We feel that these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption.”

The petition — available at GoPetition.com — is just one of the organized efforts to get the Kardashian/Jenner clan off television screens, clothes, and perfume and nail polish bottles everywhere. Websites and Facebook pages are also calling for their ouster.
